So Flora's muse is being a bit iffy so I'm gonna try some character development. For that reason, she will be quitting her job at the Arcadia Historical Society and picking up a job at The Underground.

Gemstones in the Sky || Flora & Russell
@ge0flora;
Russell had entirely forgotten about the fireworks festival until, as he was locking up Bookbound, a group talking loud of it passed him. He paused and turned, watching them walk down the path to the boardwalk, and tried to remember the last time he had seen the fireworks.
He had gone when Cecilia was small, as she enjoyed the noise and brightly colored displays. He hadn’t had much reason to go since she left, branching out on her own into the adult world.
Russell faintly remembered his secretary at the university informing him of the event. There was plenty of work for him to get a head on, but a little bit of time to relax never hurt anyone. Not seeing any reason not to, Russell straightened his cloak and followed the crowd to the boardwalk. He stayed behind them, not seeing a need to entangle himself among so many people, and found a spot near the back where he could watch. He might even get a better view from his boat if he cared to. Just as he was considering it, he noticed someone had dropped something and bent to pick it up.
“Excuse me, I believe you dropped this.”
Underwater Mystery
@ge0flora
Deep diving and looking for shells or lost items was a pastime of Leia’s. She loved finding objects that seemed ordinary, but could have hold important memories to their owners. It was sad however that they were lost and Leia couldn’t do much about it. Rarely did she find anything important enough that she felt it had to be taken to someone. There was one morning where she was doing her usual search and found something very important.
Something caught Leia’s eye. It was mostly buried in sand, so she couldn’t tell exactly what she was looking at.
Swimming closer, she still couldn’t tell what it was. Once she got close enough, Leia used her hand dig out the item. It looked like some kind of weapon. A dagger. But not a regular dagger. The rust covering it indicated that it was very old and the engravings on the hilt were unique. It was hard to tell, but it looked to be in another language that Leia couldn’t decipher.
Later that day, Leia decided to stop by the Historical Society with the weapon. Maybe they would know more about it and have a better use for it. She found a woman who looked like she worked there and approached with the dagger presented.
“Hi, I found this dagger while diving and wanted to see if it’s anything interesting,” she said, unsure of the best way to phrase her request.
