It's #GenCon next week!! I'll be in the Art Show at booth #67, come say hi and lets geek the weekend away!
Here's my menu for the weekend - I'll also have TCG playmats and custom journals!
Some better pics of my Moonshine Cybin from NADDPOD that I wore on Friday. Some pics were taken by my lovely friend Erica ❤️
It was hard to see, but there was a nannerfly jar! Some of the moss and leaves got in the way.
Fierce!
You can actually read the "Rosaline" on the blade in some pics.
Paw Paw needed love.
Me and the lovely Erica (low key Jolene cosplay??? Haha, no, just a coincidence that was the look she chose for the day)
A couple pics were taken by a sweet and stellar GM named Allison, who ran the Salted Legacy one-shot of dnd I had played with my other lovely friend Chris the day before.
I really enjoyed cosplaying as Moonshine. I felt like I could beautifully kick ass. And there were definitely folks who shared the Moonshine and NADDPOD love. Thank you, Emily Axford for creating and sharing such a wonderful character :)
Ooooohhhh I’m liking this talk (mainly because it talks about humility and repentance without sounding like a veiled reference to queerness and doubt)
Feels like this talk is directly talking to me about my self-destructive tendencies and telling me “you gotta recognize your faults before you can fix them. This (i.e. scrolling for hours, ignoring others’ needs, etc.) isn’t haha funny, this is actually a bad thing. Now work on it.”
Two weeks later and Stu is still tired. This week on the Vintage RPG podcast, Stu regales us of his adventures at GenCon 2024. The crowds. The vast convention space. The games! The revelation that the hobby at large is so very clearly a union of many smaller, constituent hobbies. It was a lot.
oh me oh my i forgot to post about this… my bf got to meet spencer agnew and alex tran at gencon this year! just a few weeks ago! we were both fangirling 😭 too bad i couldn’t be there!! we’ve been watching smosh for yearsss. literally our therapy. enjoy this candid photo of the duo and my handsome man 🥰
Gen Con? More like Genocide Con
