If I have to see one more “we’ve watched Arya since she was a little kid... this is gross” or “Joe Dempsie is 10 years older than Maisie, and he’s known her since she was a kid... that’s gross” comments I’m going to scream! If GoT never existed, and 22 year old Maisie Williams and 32 year old Joe Dempsie were cast in a movie together that had a sex scene y’all wouldn’t bat an eye because 10 years is like, the minimum age difference when Hollywood casts anything! 

NEWSFLASH, she’s not 12 any more! The actor and the character are both adults! Arya made a decision about her own life, had agency and power over her own body, and found an enthusiastic, consenting partner to engage in a healthy sexual experience with. So y’all just go and clutch those pearls somewhere else.
