Review of Unite Me by Tahereh Mafi - 4 stars

I'm glad I found this book in my library, I really enjoyed seeing scenes from Warners perspective, and getting to see his thoughts and feelings. It's definitely affected how I feel about him as a character and person. Similarly, the story from Adams POV has definitely affected how I feel about him, although I'm still not a big fan of him, I appreciate his feelings for his brother. I feel like it'd be a lot better if he just concentrated on looking after his brother and stopped chasing after Juliette when she clearly tells him they are not together anymore.

Review of Graceling by Kristin Cashore - 4 stars

Yet another book I should've read way earlier. It did not take me long to fall in love with the main character, Katsa, or Po. I loved following Katsa's journey of learning about herself, alongside her physical journey, and absolutely adore that she never changes her mind on marriage, even once she meets someone she is attracted to and cares about. I know the second book is a bit different, but I can't wait to see more of Katsa and Po, as well as a few other characters we meet in this book.

Review of Fire by Kristin Cashore - 4 stars

I wasn't really sure of this book when I started, because of the change in location and characters from the first book, but I assumed it would all connect eventually, and I definitely love how it did! I love most of the new characters we are introduced to in this book, and I found it really interesting to see the backstory of Leck, from when he was a child and figuring out how to control everyone around him, and how he managed to appear in Monsea and become King. It would be nice to see some characters from this book appear in Bitterblue, but considering the time difference I'm not sure if we will, however the book does leave that path open, what with the characters becoming interested in checking out Monsea, in order to know if they need to protect themselves or not, and considering Leck was the first Graceling they met, I too would be worried.
