There are several impediments to that claim of real speciation. Evolutionary biology has yet to fully explain the discovery of the so called Orphan Gene (OG)...
"Orphan genes for protein coding in different species are not traceable to any supposed common descent in evolution (they have no homology in different species). Approximately 20-30% of identified orphan genes are found in every new species sequenced."

There are other real objections to evolution in general but OG's are a very real problem...
