[EN] Here’s a portrait of Tymonek. Tymonek is the proud new owner of our second dog.
Yes — we now have a second four-legged friend. The decision had been in the making for a while.
We noticed that Miki, our first dog, didn’t cope well with being alone. He’s a clingy pup — happiest when someone is close by. Our daughter had been dreaming of another dog. She said she’d start saving up. And she did. We chipped in.
Then one day, I saw a post. Puppies up for adoption — some lowlife had abandoned them in the woods. No trace of responsibility. No trace of conscience.
Luckily, kind people found them. Photos were taken. The story was shared. I saw one of the pictures and thought: this is no coincidence.
I talked to my wife, and the next evening — the dog was with us.
Miki… well. At first: jealousy. Distrust. He wouldn’t come near. Tucked tail. And I have to admit — his timidity still surprises me. I don’t know if it’s his breed, or something from before — he came to us at seven months old.
But once the fear faded, things took off. Playtime. Chase games. A silent understanding.
The new pup — black as night — was named Perun. He looks a bit like a labrador, but his paws are massive — no doubt, he’s going to be a big dog. He’ll probably outgrow Miki soon enough.
Maybe it’s a touch of madness, but now we have two dogs. And three kids who are absolutely thrilled about it.
And honestly — that’s what matters most.
[PL] Oto portret Tymonka.
A my zaczęliśmy jej dokładać.
Aż pewnego dnia zobaczyłem ogłoszenie. Szczeniaki do oddania — bo jakiś zwyrol wywiózł je do lasu i porzucił.
In the soft embrace of amber light, she sits, a gentle stillness curling around her like the wisps of her hair. Each freckle dances like starlight across her cheeks, illuminating the tender contours of her expression—a serene yearning, a dream woven into the fabric of a quiet afternoon. The air hums with the warmth of unspoken possibilities, each breath a reminder of the beauty nestled within ephemeral moments.
Her gaze gazes out, yet inward, as if she holds the weight of untraveled paths in her eyes. The delicate fibers of her sweater cling to her form, echoing a sense of vulnerability and strength. Time slows, and the world beyond the window fades, leaving only the soft interplay of shadow and light, cradling her in an ethereal glow that whispers of love, hope, and the promise of another dawn.
