This seems reasonable, resourceful, and honestly - the only responsible life choice for many of us at this point. Raccoons probably are more sanitary and carry less disease than Susan the antivaxxer from the HOA, who is down at the middle school right now boycotting CRT and any books that offend her, with a confederate flag on her husband's jacked up truck telling everyone that racism isn't real, using her iPhone but complaining that the vaccine might have a govt tracking device, and the whole world has gone to absolute sh*t because everyone's lost their fool headed little minds and people are drinking their own urine now to treat covid and other health issues and even raccoons don't do that, lol. So, yeah. After the day I had being "worldly," out and about running errands, we overheard THREE separate people in public talking about being covid positive but being out shopping anyway, the amount of crazy I saw... I'm back to a self-imposed lockdown. (Except for drs and pharmacy and groceries, obvs. Have to venture into the actual hospital tomorrow, for imaging. *shudders* Yuck.) Y'all wild. I'm stocked on books and snacks. I've got cozy socks and blankets. Full supplied cold meds restocked just in case. And living with a pack of feral raccoons in the woods sounds civilized at this point. Lol. Thursday. Almost through the week. Then a 3-day weekend. Woo to the hoo.
