Last night's Round Rock Image Creators meeting at the Georgetown, TX library was really pretty cool. The theme for March was Wide Angle.

Always interesting to see how folks interpret themes. And talking about a photograph's qualities is challenging, but hearing different opinions is enlightening.

Bill and Gary do a good job of dissecting a shot, pointing out what works, offering up suggestions for improvement. Always positive. Always encouraging.

This is one of three I submitted for critique. Titled "Hose," the shot got good feedback and led off the evening's discussion.

Like I said… pretty cool.

Hutto ( Williamson County) Police Chief is fine with one of his cops beating a man for supposedly smoking marijuana and public intoxication (though he was in a friend’s driveway) and lying on his police report.

Cops gets paid vacation even though he is criminally charged.

We need to legalize marijuana and this shows why the www.aclu.org is so Damn Necessary.
