You exhale, and with the cold that always permeates the air, you see it as you sigh. Your weapon is slung over your shoulder, as you use a stick you had found to walk, your boots crunching on the snow.

The Stellaron had been sealed, yes. However, it would still be some time before the everlasting winter would fade away.

Gepard himself seemed to be especially concerned when it came to the Silvermane’s patrols. He always erred on the side of caution in the event of monsters from any lingering fragmentum appeared, and thus chose carefully on who would go. You were among them, as a sharpshooter who could remain at a distance if you needed to retreat.

If there was one fortunate thing about it all, was that at least the fragmentum and its monsters had begun to dwindle as thanks to the Express crew’s efforts and involvement.

So when you return from the expedition with your group, hale and healthy for the most part, Gepard awaits you.

A small pot of brewed coffee also waits for you. It’s not your drink of choice, but it’s hot and warms you up enough that you can’t complain at the bitter taste. It is tempered by the fact that Gepard also knew how much sugar and cream you liked to add to it.

“Thank you,” Comes your quiet murmur as you take long sips, the mug warming your hands, despite having worn gloves.

Gepard nods, his own expression softening as he sits with you. The hearth crackles nearby, fresh wood having been added just this morning.

“You’re alright?” He eventually asks, the blond haired man turns to face you. There’s still concern in those eyes of his, and usually you weren’t one to be so fawned over. But despite that, you don’t seem to mind.

“If you mean my leg, it’s fine. It was just a sprained ankle that’s long since healed,” You say, placing your now empty mug down on the table, “I just happened to miss my step and embarrassingly slip on some ice.”

Still, Gepard worries even if he doesn’t say so out loud.

“No need to worry, Captain, we all did make it home,” You say with a playful expression, the corners of your eyes crinkle as your lips move into a smile.

“Still, you had me- all of us, worried,” Gepard scolds lightly.

You thankfully miss his slip up, but it sends his heart racing nonetheless.

It had meant to have been a routine operation; having taken place a few nights go, ensuring that anything, beastly or monstrous had not wandered close. But like all expectations of normalcy, it was ruined by the very same monsters.

He had helped you back, as you were favoring weight on one side. You had forgot what the topic of conversation had been, and had paused midsentence when Gepard had simply picked you up. Having been stunned into silence momentarily, it took you a moment as cleared your throat awkwardly then.

Your colleagues had an array of reactions. One had gasped, eyes wide, gloved hands covering her mouth. Another had looked away, shoulders shaking before they cleared their throat. The third had his eyes closed, lips thinned as he moved his head down.

Unbeknownst to you, Gepard too had realized what he had done. He was all too keenly aware of his hand resting on the small of your back. It had felt that, despite wearing the layers of the Silvermane’s uniforms, your skin was hot to the touch. Or maybe that was his face burning bright red.

“Well- anyway…!” You say, sounding almost hysterical as you settle, “We should get going, yes? Please? I’d like to prop up my foot.”

Everyone present knew it was not about propping up your foot. But rather, about preserving your dignity, or what remained of it. Gepard only nodded jerkily, still holding onto you tightly.

The rest of the group followed obediently behind, with nary a peep leaving them.

You were very much glad for it.

Oh, he goes after you whenever you decide to go into a fight without thinking and end up with bruises or cuts; he might as well put a leash on you so you won't get run off again. He‘ll be in the corner, watching you get patched up and glaring at you, making you feel uneasy. Oh, annoying. If he wasn’t madly in love with you, he would let you get hurt, but he cares about you.

He’s fine with you being reckless if it doesn’t get you badly hurt. Well, Kafka always gives him little comments here and there, or when you disappear and forget to say anything, she’ll be the one telling him because she finds it cute how he cares about you (she ships you both so hard).

He stays close to you, just in case something else happens to you when he’s not there. You're almost like a carefree child, worrying about nothing in the world.

Oh dear, you should really be more careful; you know how dangerous monsters there are! You should leave it to him; he's the captain of the Silvermane Guards, for crying out loud. You shouldn’t be the one risking your life, so please think before you act; he just doesn’t want to see you get hurt.

He’ll be lecturing you while patching you up; he’s not mad but worried what if something worse happens next time than just getting some cuts. After he’s finished his long lecture about how you shouldn’t jump into things without thinking and blah blah, he tells you he loves you and again just doesn’t want to see you hurt.

Of course he thinks you can handle yourself! He trusts your instincts more than anyone else's. Seeing you wanting to protect people, he can’t help but be amazed by you, but just don’t rush into things without a plan.

He might get more white hairs because of you; he trusts you, but sometimes….. he wants to keep you safe, stopping you from doing things that are too risky (so you won’t regret it later on). After you come back from your little adventure, he’s going to make sure you're alright. Don't even try to lie; he can tell.

When he finds you coming back battered, he’ll drop everything and take you to the medicinal room in the express. Looking at the cuts or bruises you've gotten, he doesn’t want to lecture you too much; he’ll tell you random fun facts he’s learned over the years to lighten the mood.

Well, you're saying that you're not allowed to do any more little adventures until you're fully recovered. No buts, no nothing. even when you give him the puppy dog eyes; he thinks it’s cute, but that won't change his mind! If you need anything, just call him, and he’ll be there.

First, so I imagine Gepard as the shy, hot nerdy type of guy with his extremely popular sister. (I gotta get that outta the way)

So when he starts crushing on you, he tells no one, like no one, because his sister is obviously your best friend and she will tease the hell out of him, and because he probably thinks that you don’t know he exists.

Serval though, she will eventually (like 4 days after he started liking you) find out his little crush.

“Hey bro.” Serval greets, a warm smile on her face. “Hey.” He ushered back. Serval entered his room without warning, plopping herself comfy on his hard mattress. “I know you like [name].” She teased, the warm smile replaced with a huge grin. Gepard doesn’t respond, but he’s tempted to ask, “how”

Serval although, beat him to it. “You look at her like a lost puppy whenever we are together.” She explained. “You stare at her, like she’s the only girl in the world.”

Surprisingly, serval isn’t as much as tease as he expected, but I never said “isn’t a tease.” Serval will obviously respect him though, like she won’t tease him that much in front of you.

He got your phone number from serval, when you ask, you’re left on read.. man’s got no response.

He doesn’t tell you he likes you, for a couple years.. n serval is literally begging him to ask you out, or she’s gonna do it for you, of course she’s joking.

We probably first met while you were performing with your group. Since March wanted to see why there were people surrounding your group, she just dragged Dan Heng with her to see. It had been the first time he’d seen street dancers like you: taking risks and doing flips off each other with march awing the whole time, and with the finale, one of the other performers grabbed one for you and forced it up, making you do a backflip. Everyone cheers while you all bow.

March is asking so many questions like, “Do you get dizzy while spinning?" or “HOW DID YOU DO THAT!" Or “That was so cool! Did your hands get burned?" “That's enough, march. You're asking too many questions again.” Dan Heng is nervous to compliment; he means well, but the only thing he can say to your face is "good job".

"You did a good job.” "Is there anything else you want to say?” You just want a compliment from just one if you are being too greedy. “That's all” “Really?... Okay I've decided I'll make a special performance for you; you’ll have to tell me the truth!” just a little greedy.

He knew since your group would always get in trouble for not having permits and other things for the places you danced and scrambled away every time Silvermane Guards showed up to stop your party. He’s heard about the complaints your group gets from the Silvermane in Belobog.

Words have been going around that your group has been working with Sampo Koski to steal money from other people. Now with that claim, your whole group has been detained over something that wasn't even true! You were most tiring to deal with since you argued and made a big ruckus about how it wasn't true. The result is that you were telling the truth.

Nowadays, whenever your group finishes up a performance, he always comes to see if he has the time and gives you a jacket since, for some reason, you don’t bring a jacket with you because “it ruins your look.” Everyone can see the goosebumps on your skin, so just take the jacket.

Your group always teases him whenever they see him, and whenever they see him, they drag him away from Jing Yuan and Twirl, throw him around, and have so many people watching them make a fool out of him. When you joined, you weren’t so mean; you stopped your friends from taking him away and playing their games on him, and you even apologized for their behavior! They should do it themselves, but he’s fine with it.

Now your friends are teasing him into liking you more. It's not like that! He doesn’t like you; you're pretty, and you’re nice; so sweet to him, you're just a really good person, that's all! The general even started saying it!

Your group invited him to go shopping with them, and then they all dipped and left you and Yanqing to go shopping together. “Have fun time~” was the last text they sent to you.
