I just did a quick research and here in germany the media is definitely writing about it. I ignored the tabloid ones (they also publish all their pr fluff, even though a lot of them also mentioned the appeal just in a more meghan friendly way). But i found 2 articles in spiegel and 2 in faz as well as one in focus and stern and there are even more local ones from cologne and the ruhr area which mentioned the court appeal. They present both sides, so write neutral, but they mention that m had to apologise for "not remembering" coorporating with ff and they also mention the mails about the letter with the use of the word "daddy" and the possible leaking in mind. Both the mails and meghans arguments get quoted. But there is an focus on the new findings and that it doesn't leave a good look on her in some of the articles.
I think one can say even though most people will not care so much here, it probably will leave a taint on her and her image. The good old death with a thousand cuts seems to be the way with her.
But i think the oprah interview to many people also was a big red flag. Not so much in my own age group (24) and younger i guess but for my parents this was absolutely disgusting and disrespectful. They don't follow royals and do not care so much, but when they saw/heard about that oprah interview it already was over for them.
They think m is a gold digger who manipulated harry and from the beginning on just used him for fame and to launch her hollywood career since she never made it before him now. No one minded them wanting to do their own thing, but that interview, boy, they don't find one positive word about her since.
The german anon again: i just looked again and i found more articles and they are getting more critical. Bild of course straight out called them liars. And in the FAZ not even an hour ago was a commentary published which seems to call her out and says that the current outcomes in the court don't fit with what they both of them said on their two events they had on the same day (tabloids should come with a warning, megxit term) Sadly its behind a paywall so i could only read the beginning. But it looks like the writer calls them out for their hypocrisy (misinformation,...).
So the recent revelations do get coverage here, even in more serious newspapers. And not just tabloids like bild and gala or bunte.
