i have to write two assignments tonight and it's almost nine thirty why do i always end up here
I have to read a German book "Damals war es Friedrich" for my German exam. But the person telling the story (main character) of the book doesn't have a name.
This, at first, was very interesting as so the main character and his family don't have any names or description, one can place themselves in their situation. But then when you have to write an essay (in German) about the book it becomes very hard! You cant say, "Ben and Jerry were playing with the ball when..." because the person telling the story doesnt have a name! So you have to write "The person telling the story and Jerry were playing with the ball when.."
