thankfully a friend of mine has the same course as i do, so we meet in school (with a safe distance) and watch the lectures on the big screen ^^‘
positive side effect: we’re having our own little study group, because she’s good with physics and i’m good with math ^^

Nearly all courses my uni has were moved online and only a few lab lectures are live.
‘til now the building stays open, which means I can study a few days a week there and the rest will be at home.
We don’t really know yet how our project modules will happen but we’ll see ^^
i want you to keep in mind that a shitton of the “NO DoNT VoTe ThERe’s nO DifFereNCe Bt tHE TwO PaRties” nonsense you see going around is coming from bots
who are hoping to influence the election
and who will influence it, to a degree
kind of like… kinda like that one….ya’ll remember that last big. political thing. where. we were voting in a political leader? and then we found out…there was a foreign power influencing voters. through social media? ya’ll. ya’ll remember. that.
Remember that Tumblr has recently introduced a feature to where, when reporting a post, you can select “election integrity” as one of the reasons as to why it is being reported!
this! is good to know!
THIS IS WHERE THE MEME CAME FROM
Seriously, though, the French LOVED Edgar Allan Poe, thanks in particular to Jules Verne.
He even wrote a sequel to Poe’s only novel, and numerous essays about how great an author Poe was.
By all accounts, Poe (who lived a penniless life in the US) really *was* baffled by all of this.
Reblogging because I never saw that part before!
