How To Invest In Yourself When Your Employer Won't
We can all agree that our employers have really showed their asses these past few months. It is a bit insane how some of these places are not for us. Like my mom always says, “get what you can get out of a situation and leave”. With this in mind, it is time to really start to plan not just your start but your ending. What Covid-19 has taught us is nothing is promised even if you sign a contract. As we prepare for the week, take a second and prepare for yourself and your future career - your current employer won’t.
Social Networking
Instagram is not just for posting cool photos. It should be used for what it is called “social networking”. While you are figuring out what you want to do with your life, get inspired by some of the people out there who may already be living it already. Be wary! Instagram is not always true and sometimes those false depiction can make you feel a bit insecure.
If you are looking for a career change, slid into the DMs of someone who may already be in that career. You would be surprised how many people are so excited to help others.
