There was once a time in life that I hated my body. I restricted myself. I didn’t eat the things I loved. I only focused on what size I was. I finally realized that I am more than a number on a scale.
I’m strong.
I’m smart.
I’m funny.
I’m creative.
I’m a sister.
I’m a daughter.
I’m a friend.
Now instead of focusing on the number on the scale or what size jeans I wear, I focus on being healthy and happy. I focus on doing what makes me feel good. I eat healthy, but still make room for the junk foods I love. I go to the gym, not to be skinny but to be strong.
