All these people on YouTube chastising Cardi for "not disguising his sexy pixxx folder".

No. No. The "School" folder under "My Computer" is always the real "sexy pixxx" folder. The "sexy pixxx" folder on his desktop is a decoy full of professional photographs of himself from back during his time with the band. Anyone poking their nose in would go, "Yep, those are some sexy pixxx alright," and move on without thinking.

And whenever someone catches him on his desktop, Cardi pretends to drag the folder to the bin (which is right next to it) in a panic. Then recovers it once they're gone.

Unfortunately, everyone will realise this is an act should anyone actually poke their nose into Cardi's "sexy pixxx" folder, because why the fuck would he act that way over stage photos? And, unknown to Cardi, this will do nothing but give away the fact that he does have "sexy pixxx" on his work computer -- just not in the "sexy pixxx" folder.

Also, if anyone ever notices his "School" folder, they will absolutely know. Middle-aged men do not have "School" folders. Come on. Evolve your "sexy pixxx" hiding skills, Frater. Stop taking advice from thirteen year olds on reddit.

Telling members of the Clergy they’re adopted

Note: Special Ghoul doesn’t get to be included today, as I’m writing with the V-is-Special theory/headcanon in mind once more and V’s already got three life stages covered. He’s not that special.

Papa Nihil: Stares at you like you just shat into your own drink and then downed it. “You think I did not know…?”

Pre-circus Sister Imperator: Mutters under her breath. “I wish…”

Adult Sister Imperator: Raises one eyebrow, unimpressed. “Worked out well enough, don’t you think?”

Marika Psaltarian: Frowns. “I am not. But why do you think that being adopted would hurt my feelings?”

Mr Psaltarian: Sips his coffee. “Yeah. And?”

Child Cardi: “I. AM NOT. ADOPTED!!!! 🤬🤬🤬”

Cardinal Copia: Scowls. “How do you know about that?”

Frater Imperator: “I am not adopted! Well, I am, but… but I am also not, because—” He gestures grandly— “I have actual parents! And they are here… somewhere. I-I do not know where, but they will show up eventually… I guess. Hey, do you believe in ghosts?”

Child V: 🥺 “What do you mean?”

Adult V: “Yeah, I know. I’m pretty over that, honestly.”

Papa V Perpetua: Considers the declaration. “Does abduction qualify as adoption? I mean, similar-sounding words, but… is it really the same thing? Am I adopted? Or was I simply lost and now returned?”

Primo: Stares at you. “I ate my parents.”

(His mother dumped him at a circus when he was a baby and his father never met him, but don’t remind him. He might bring you to someone who would eat a person. Or bathe in your bodily fluids, if you’re a virgin. 0/10, do not recommend.)

Secondo: Whips off his sunglasses to fix you with his intense stare. “I see you do not understand the concept of communal living.”

If asked to elaborate, he will refer you to his younger half-brother. He has better things to do.

Terzo: Stares at you awkwardly. Looks like he’s about to say something a few times only to stumble and pull the words back. Looks around as if in search of help with this strange menace. Fails.

Turns back to face you. “No—” He jabs you in the chest— “You!”

Walks away.

Judith: Looks at you like you just caught her licking icing off a cake. “NO! No, Frater’s just nice to me. That’s all…” A pause. You can see her dying inside as she realises you weren’t talking about Frater.

Okay, but whose fucking pram is this?

(Love the gilded and completely unused plug sockets btw)

Headcanon 1: It is Marika's. She does not have a new baby, she just really misses when her "little boy" was tiny and takes her nostalgia trips a bit too far. This is very awkward for the staff, and incredibly embarrassing for Cardi.

Headcanon 2: It's Cardi's. He also does not have a baby. He bought the pram so that people will think he has a stable partner and child outside the Ministry, thereby making him appear more authoritative and put-together. He makes a point to... well, point at it sometimes and tell people, "I have a baby." He then nods at the person he's speaking to. Assertively. As if daring them to question the validity of his non-existent baby.

Spluttering and stammering is to be had if anyone ever asks after the non-existent girlfriend and baby. Sister sometimes asks after them to mess with him. Marika just wishes he really did have a baby and acts disappointed whenever the act comes out.

Headcanon 3: Sister convinced Cardi or Marika to put it there as a joke so she can watch people trying to figure out who has a baby, and where the hell said baby is.

Headcanon 4: It was Cardi's pram once upon a time, and Cardi had it placed there just in case V turns up out of nowhere one day. He intends to point at the pram and tell V, "I had a pram as a baby. Did you?" With the implication being that he thinks V looks like an unloved former urchin and therefore Cardi is superior to him, because look: he had a pram! His adoptive parents loved him! And V's didn't! Because Cardi is better!

(But then should it actually happen, V goes: "Oh no, I had seven prams: one for each day of the week." And Cardi just stands there seething because the oh-so-witty insult he spent weeks thinking up just got turned right back at him.)

((Though it's probably not actually Cardi's old pram; it looks too new. The rest, though...))

Headcanon 5: Marika did a Sister and legit forgot Cardi is a middle-aged fully adult man. She brought it home to put Cardi in, then came to her senses at the doors to his office and kind of just... put it to the side and pretended she had no idea how it got there.

...Which could also imply that Marika has whatever Sister had, and she's going to die during this era.💀

Primo: *gazes ominously into your soul* No.

Secondo: *stares disdainfully at you over a glass of wine for a few moments before turning his head and addressing one of the women he’s with, ignoring your calls for his attention entirely*

Terzo: Hmm… Well, if you can find one, I think I have some glitter here somewhere. Why let your dreams just be dreams? Let’s make that vampire sparkle! (They don’t sparkle, by the way.)

Cardi: Well, uh… no. No, of course not! These are a creature of the night! Beings of… of darkness, and blood, and… sparkle?? *scoffs* That’s so stupid, man.

V: I am not a vampire. *puts on his glitzy mask* But sometimes, I do sparkle! ☺️

Sister Imperator: Not in any good literature, they don’t. *disgusted Sister noises*

Papa Nihil:

YES! :D

Mr Psaltarian: *glares at you like you just encouraged his adoptive son to ride a tricycle at the age of 55* You need better taste in movies.

Marika Psaltarian: Ye— I mean, of course not. Why would vampires sparkle? It is much harder to hide in shadows when you are sparkling. That is why, back in the circus, we wore the most beautiful and sparkly outfits... *story time with Marika begins*

Judith: Uh… *awkward pause* I guess? I mean… if you’re watching the right— wrong. Wrong film. I-I don’t watch… you know… *more awkwardness* …Okay, so I do, but it’s all purely educational!

Special Ghoul: I am not a vampire. And I also do not sparkle. I mean… I suppose, if you were to, like, stick little crystals here on my mask, then maybe… but me in my birthday suit? *laughs* Actually, I am pretty pale, so maybe if you get the light bright enough… But I also would not let you see that, so… Tough luck, right?

(Not as in-depth as my usual, but that format didn't seem right for this one.)

Another one of those sticky thoughts: Cardi and V starring in a pantomime.

Cardi's facing the audience, asking us, "Where the fuck is V??"

We say, "Behind you!" Because he is. V is behind Cardi. He's standing right behind him, grinning a grin full of teeth and ducking out of the way just in time whenever Cardi, prompted by us, looks behind him. But Cardi never sees him, and he's growing visibly frustrated.

"Where the hell is that loser?" he says. "We need him on the set for the video! Why, I mean, at this rate, we... we might as well just have me star in the video..."

And suddenly, Cardi's completely lost interest in finding V. He wants to star in the video instead!

But V is the villain of the piece, and he, still grinning, manages to dramatically sabotage every little performance Cardi makes in his stead – ruining the video completely and making Cardi look like an absolute buffoon.

(Yes, I know it's not fucking Christmas. I do not care. My thoughts refuse to be constrained by social convention.)

(If I could still make crack work and I weren't feeling particularly monogamous, I would probably try to turn this idea into a crackfic. But alas, crack and me are no longer in alignment. For now, anyway...)
