ghosthostwiththemost replied to your post “i literally dont understand why people still cling onto furaffinity ...”
Because that's where the business is. It's very hard for even well established furry artists to sell commissions elsewhere.
i know that much, at least; its one of the big reasons
but also like, I believe the bulk of furaffinity are just furries using fa because they're furries, and artists who only draw recreationally. the percentage of users actually doing commissions is probably really small in comparison. I have no data for that, it's just a hunch.
if you're not making commissions theres literally no reason to stay on furaffinity. go to weasyl. it has a much nicer design. i still use fa but i only use it to look at art. that's it. i do everything else on weasyl. its more organized, easier on the eye, it has better and less corrupt staff, your art doesnt get fucked up when you submit it, and wowie wow, it DOESNT CRAP OUT OR GET DDOS'ED.
dont even get me started on notes. its proven to be unreliable and still a lot of artists use it to communicate even though fa goes down for a good cumulative 2 weeks a year. when it goes down all of a sudden you can't see your commissioners, use email at the very least. pretend youre on geocities.
if everyone who doesnt rely on commissions realized fa was shit and moved house, then the artists will move house too. if everyone just moved...
if you are an artist doing commissions there's nothing stopping you from posting your art on two or more sites either. put your foot in the water. people who only use weasyl will end up seeing your art and your pool will be larger. (and they better not say 'it takes too much time!'. unless you're posting like ten commissions a day i think an extra two minutes per commission isnt going to put a dent in your production). just post your art on two sites but take commissions and only post journals just on fa or something.
having art on two sites will partially avoid this dilemma because even when fa goes down you still have a lifeline on a different site.
fa is poopy butt fart.
HMMM A zOMBIE MAYBE?? But, also an elf!
zombie elf
i have way too much fun poking my pointy ears and then they fall off
Mirai Nikki, Dangan Ronpa, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Full Metal Alchemist, and Inuyasha
WAAAAHHHHH YOU ASKED ALL THE ONES I WANTED HOW
Mirai Nikki: Kill your only love or be killed by your only love. Pick one
Be killed by my only love…it would be easier to cope with than having to live a lifetime without them, you know?? Plus I could come back as a spooky ghost and haunt them lol
Dangan Ronpa: You are drafted to attend a prestigious school for an outstanding talent of yours, what talent would that be?
Being annoying…jk sort of lol probably writing…it’s the only talent I see in myself that I adore to be honest
Neon Genesis Evangelion: Do you think a world where everyone completely understands each other necessarily means a better world?
No…because as humans we’d always find something we dislike about the other person even despite understanding. There are people out there who understand homophobia and racism but they still agree with things the majority is doing. Understanding doesn’t necessarily mean better.
Full Metal Alchemist: Greed, Envy, Lust, Pride, Wrath, Gluttony, Sloth: Pick the 3 you feel pertain to you most.
EHEHEHEHEHEEHEH umm…Envy, Sloth, and…probably Greed
Inuyasha: What era of time would you like to visit?
OH GOSH!! The WWII era…it’s one of my favorite time periods to read about
THANK YOU NATE YOU’RE FANTASTIC and also radical *sick guitar solo*

Ahhh! Nice! I’ve always wanted to try taiyaki, lemme know how it is
it's squishy and filled with bean paste.
they don't sell it at the asian store downtown so it was one of the things i was looking forward to eating at the con. i missed my chance last year and it made me sad so it was one of the first things i got when i walked into the dealer's hall.
try it at least once if you get the chance; they're good.
ghosthostwiththemost replied to your post:I'M HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME.
DID YOU LIKE RIDING A TRAIN
IT WAS ACTUALLY REALLY NICE, ESPECIALLY ON THE HOME TRIP.
I'd probably ride trains more often if they weren't spendy.
