I’m shaking the Gigaverse concept with my teeth like a puppy with a treat ball. It’s outer space. I can hold it in my hands because it’s a computer. There is computerception. Ren’s carved out a corner of our Collective Story Space to make a Minecraft pocket dimension, that already exists retroactively. The internet itself is a pocket dimension and I’m so glad we get to talk about this now. We made a universe of electricity and metal and dreams, and this little corner has a name now!! How cool is that?

So ig Rendog is making a Hermitcraft canon and that’s really really awesome and I love it but I keep thinking about our own personal canons that we’ve made up. I wanna write fanfics that take place in my own idea of a Minecraft universe. You could call those an au, but I feel like that would that be disrespectful to Rendog too tho and am having a moral dilemma of some kind.

does anyone else remember the deep lore gigaverse video that ren made

according to ren's gigaverse lore, empires and hermitcraft exist within the same region of the galaxy. so the rift isn't inter-dimensional, it's just inter-planetary.

would that make all of the changes that happened to the hermits - the shrinking, santa perla, sun god bdubs, undead(?) ren, etc - just evolutionary adaptations for the hermits? if so, why? what is it about the hermits, or the hermitcraft solar system, or whatever it is, that causes such a widespread and varied reaction to what is arguably not that much different of a planet than hc-9?

moreover, when the empires folks traveled to hc-9, why did fwhip turn human?

there's something weird about planet hc-9, or possibly even the hermitcraft solar system as a whole, and tbh writers and artists should do more with that
