Color-matching spicy gingersnaps against our spicy little gingersnap! And can I say, these are freakin delicious???!! Only ¥150 at the Natural Lawson. I can’t taste the lemon but I actually can taste the spicy—it builds and builds the more you eat, and you will eat more than you think. And they have glittery crispy sugar crystals inside, which is great texture!

While I was hoping against hope that these would be like the homemade gingersnap sandwich cookies with tart lemon frosting that my grandma’s friend made once and I have not stopped thinking about for something like 17 years, I was not disappointed that they were not! Well done, Ceylon Family!

Vegan stem ginger cookies 😋 Crunchy and sweet with a punchy ginger kick 👌

Spiced ginger nut biscuits.

RECIPE:

Stick of plant butter (113g)

2 cups self raising flour

1 cup light brown sugar

1/3 cup golden syrup

1 tsp bicarbonate soda

2 tbsp ground ginger

1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon

1tbsp vegetable oil

2tbsp coconut milk

Melt the butter and mix with the syrup and sugar. Then sift all dry ingredients into the mixture and then add the oil and coconut milk. Mix together until one consistency.

For baking this recipe I put all of the mixture on one tray for a biscuit tray bake, as it’s a gooey and chewy mixture. So once it’s done I slice it up into squares then put them on a cooling rack as they’ll harden a bit.

Cook for 12-15 at 375f.

Decorate with water icing once cool.

So i do english language alevel and i have a paper two mock exam tomorrow and...why does everyone in gender say the same thing but their own opinion dAMMIT ITS SO CONFUSING I'm chilling here with my cat eating ginger biscuits having a slight mental breakdown
