The Snowman Biscuits
Vegan stem ginger cookies 😋 Crunchy and sweet with a punchy ginger kick 👌
WAIT!! BEFORE YOU DISMISS THIS AS A BAKING POST, WAIT THERE’S STAR TREK COMING!!
Twelve biscuits to break your heart.
That’s what I’m calling this little project i’ve been undertaking yesterday and today thanks to a dream @grunkling had and an idea it gave me. We’ve been discussing this a lot.
first, some background. it started because of this post:
If you can’t read that, the actual post is (here)
so then, i went into my kitchen and made biscuits - not gingerbread i’m afraid, just your basic, three-ingredient (plain and simple (eh see what i did there)) biscuit. as seen in the first two pictures. then, and i can’t believe i actually fucking did this, i wrote out, by hand, with icing, that message, separated into 12 parts:
You’re still welcome
in my life, you made
this place a home and
there is nothing
here for me
without you.
Wherever you go,
I’m coming with you.
Ah, I see, my dear,
you found the biscuits
I baked for you.
P.S. Fuck the Federation.
Yes, I actually spent time doing that. I’ll be the first to admit i’m not the best at writing icing (my hand was actually aching by the end of it) and the blue went a bit weird on three of them (5, 7, 11), but i’m quite proud of it - and now they’ve all been eaten by people who’ve been to my house.
here’s the finished product:
the tag is: '#ps fuck the federation'; spread the word!
Little hers: gingerbread man and grapes with a babyccino for a snack. She said “he’s hopping on one leg now mummy!”
Cosima made some tiny little gingerbread bears. She’s getting good at stamping them out! Freezer now stocked with toddler treats

Like any child, my four children absolutely love biscuits. It doesn’t matter if they are homemade or shop-brought, they will pretty much eat any sort of biscuit given to them. This, therefore, gave me a great excuse to try a new biscuit recipe for us all to try – Gingerbread.
I am not quite sure why it has taken me so long to…
