Balcony scene redraw
It's kind of funny how the writers not only named two characters the same name, but made both of them unintentionally horrible people. To clarify i'm referring to the Andres.
Andre the ice cream man
Not only is the bastard a toxic shipper, who throws a tantrum every. single. time. the two MINORS don't date the people he thinks they should date. Revolution comes along and reveals that he never even had a permit to sell his ice cream to begin with! Which not only is an actual crime BTW, but implies that a health inspector has never verified if his food is even safe to consume!
....which now that I think about it puts a rather interesting implication on why his ice cream stall actually is always on the move without a set route.
Andre Bourgeois
where do I even begin? Should I mention how Chloe confirmed on two separate occasions that he taught her his shady and scummy political tactics, thus normalizing dishonesty and corruption to her? How he rather than parent Chloe, throws money and his power around to sweep her problems away, teaching her that power and money is more important than responsibility?
How he BLAMED the fourteen year old daughter he failed to raise for his misery while calling her heartless?... Oh wait how about the infamous deleted scene from Collusion? You know, the one where Andre traded the fourteen year old daughter he fucked up raising for custody of the kid he had zero involvement with raising, All while implying that Chloe unlike Zoe, deserves to be abused by Audrey!??
I mean seriously I would ask if the writers just hate that name or something, if it wasn't for the fact that they want/expect us to feel that Chloe was in the wrong for arresting the creep in Revolution, while also attempting to get us to feel sympathy for the sorry excuse of a parent/person that is her father instead of the child he was responsible for.
i am once again thinking about this scene from season 2
