I’m bored and a little sick because I got an updated covid shot yesterday so here’s some headcanons about how I think different attributes in WuWa affect Resonators

Granted these are based on some things I’ve noticed with existing playable characters, but also my own personal ideas as well

Aero

- Much better lung capacity and overall higher stamina in those with stable Fortes

- More prone to breathing issues in those with unstable Fortes

- Can withstand wind chills and high gusts easier

Fusion

- Runs really warm. Like insanely high body temperature. Mf never gets cold

- Decently fire resistant, perfect candidates for fire rescue

- Less prone to burns which makes cooking and baking a breeze

Electro

- Prone to heart irregularities, even in stable Fortes

- Picks up static electricity like no other, very prone to accidentally shocking people when touched

- Gets really energized during any sort of electrical storm

Glacio

- Body temperature is the exact opposite of Fusion. Runs really cold

- Very resistant to cold weather and temperatures. Can and will go out in a snowstorm in shorts and a tank top

- Can overheat very easily if not careful

Spectro

- Can see very well in dark areas, excellent night vision

- Very light sensitive eyes

- Eyes may be seen to emit a soft glow

Havoc

- In the rare stable Forte, lots of sleep issues and chronic fatigue

- Mental and physical health issues are incredibly common

- Lots of chronic pain from constant overclocking

Feel free to add your own ideas! I love the idea of any sort of element related ability affecting the user’s body in somewhat “mundane” ways. It makes the power system feel much more grounded in my eyes

I've been playing so much astroneer and I think Glacio is my favorite planet to be on so I thought it would be neat to make a poster for it

Astroneer headcanons:

Atrox: -smells bad -just bad in general -about the size of mercury -most geologically active out of all the planets -atmosphere is full of radioactive ash from volcanoes

Calidor: -the largest terrestrial planet in the system -incredibly strong magnetic field -also a former ocean planet, but got too close to the sun and the water dried up -atmosphere is boiling water vapor -the few plants that do survive use halobacteria and contain carotenoids

Sylva: -forests use halobacteria like those on vesania -rich in salt -formerly covered with oceans, but those dried up

Desolo: -fluoride atmosphere -about the size of pluto -formerly a dwarf planet

Vesania: -similar to earth in size and biodiversity -small oceans full of algae -plants use halobacteria instead of clorophyll

Novus: -incredibly humid -atmosphere is constantly clouded in water vapor -approx. the size of mars -retrograde orbit

Glacio: -surface glaciers are comprised of frozen nitrogen -faint water-ice rings -the soil beneath the glaciers is full of iron -orbits a neptune-like planet -pockmarked with craters   -2nd largest planet -geologically active, glaciers are constantly shifting -grasses on the surface contai anthocyanidins -massive fungi exist near the core

domestic life conversations

For context, I imagine Gale did warn Marzio that he might be infertile due to the orb’s unpredicted side effects, but he didn’t know for sure (based off of banter dialogue where Gale mentions the orb has made him lose hair in odd places & my personal headcanon that the orb sapped some life force away). Marzio did mention starting a family one day was important to him, so this was a worry he needed to know. Marzio is just a bit reckless and has a 8 in his INT, so his memory isn’t as sharp as he’d like to admit. Neither of them ended up being correct. Surprise!

I’m still obsessed with the idea that Tav x Gale are the noisiest combination of sleepers. Tav snores and mumbles incoherently (or at least has recorded lines for this). Then, Gale mumbles nonstop. You can hear Gale sleep talking in the background ambience if you stop during some nighttime cutscenes. The attention to detail there deserves a chef’s kiss! No one gets sleep around these two. None at all.
