Din is trying to escape arena prison fic recs
I haven't thought about this fic in years but @Beefrobeefcal's Glandalorian (Din being a gladiator) November fic challenge reminded me of this...
Din is forced to fight in a series of arena fights. While trying to stay alive, he tries to keep his son Grogu hidden in fear that his powers would get discovered. If you like whump and angst, this is for you. If you love Din in gladiator type fights where he's fighting for survival, and you're not sure how he's going to get out of this, this is for you.
While searching for the above fic in Ao3 before finally realizing I read it on fanfiction.net, I stumbled upon another fic.

If you love Andor, and you wished the Mandalorian world meshed together more with Andor, If you wished Din would get into situations that made it difficult to escape from, this fic is for you. In this fic he is hired to find out why prisoners are disappearing after being released. Din and Grogu embark in a perilous quest and end up in a prison planet.
There's so much action, there's mystery, there's a sense of how are they going to make it out, what more can the writer throw at them... how are there still several chapters left and it's already this tense?
These fics, you might want to take your time read a couple of chapters, then come back the next day and so on. I'm currently reading The Prison (I tried binge reading it and had to take a break and come back to it). It's good.
Both are good, both are complete and long and epic, just get a comfy chair. You'll find yourself on the edge of your seat.
