Glam2013 uh oh rocket ship.

small bump in the road, was gonna write about it last night but I couldnt see anything but red and the faces of burning screaming bodies. Er I mean, I was a little upset. The ink I bought in Brazil is not compatible with the paper I’ve been drawing GLAM on. Lines bleed A LOT and look like horrible fuzzy caterpillars. I blame the ink in this case rather than the paper, as one page was half inked back in NYC with my old supplies (and nothing fuzzy about those lines). I was not allowed to bring any liquids neither through the moving company (even tho they shipped by sea) nor on the plane. HOWEVER I am moving along and continuing to pencil new pages. Hopefully will find replacement ink soon or have to experiment with digital inking (hadn’t considered it until a friend suggested it…seems like a possibility but I’ve always been very antidigital when it comes to my OWN work. Mostly because my favorite part of drawing is inking). WHAT DOES THIS MEAAAN??? Well, Glam is still on for 2013, I’ll still be drawing new pages, it just may take a little longer to start posting them. If I can get this ink the right consistency somehow, then great, otherwise, we’ll see. say tuned for updates.

Glam2013 is still on

Haven’t posted status updates for GLAM progress after day 2 cause I figured it’d just be annoying. I posted on day 2 of drawing to show any skeptics out there that it’s still happening. AND IT IS!! Only got 6 pages done in 3 days but haven’t drawn any yet today (about to start, got a little distracted with horror manga, but hope to get at least 2 more done tonight). So it’s a slow start, but enough for me to start thinking seriously about posting in February. Anyway, this is the last progress report, stay tuned for preview images and posting info in the near future.
