Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! A show without drama would probably be boring but that doesn't mean I have to like it - in fact I'm pretty sure the whole point is that I don't like it. I appreciate the departure from form (no "[heart] CARA" to sign off) as I sign of turmoil in Cara's thoughts along with the previously used ellipses, new lines, broken up sentences. The diary style is captured with the writing of one thing - "I don't know what to say" - and then the immediate contradiction of it - "That's not true. I do know what I'm thinking". The style is imperfect, not thought through, not finalised as if writing the words as they came to her so the entire line of thought is revealed.

Glam2013 uh oh rocket ship.

small bump in the road, was gonna write about it last night but I couldnt see anything but red and the faces of burning screaming bodies. Er I mean, I was a little upset. The ink I bought in Brazil is not compatible with the paper I’ve been drawing GLAM on. Lines bleed A LOT and look like horrible fuzzy caterpillars. I blame the ink in this case rather than the paper, as one page was half inked back in NYC with my old supplies (and nothing fuzzy about those lines). I was not allowed to bring any liquids neither through the moving company (even tho they shipped by sea) nor on the plane. HOWEVER I am moving along and continuing to pencil new pages. Hopefully will find replacement ink soon or have to experiment with digital inking (hadn’t considered it until a friend suggested it…seems like a possibility but I’ve always been very antidigital when it comes to my OWN work. Mostly because my favorite part of drawing is inking). WHAT DOES THIS MEAAAN??? Well, Glam is still on for 2013, I’ll still be drawing new pages, it just may take a little longer to start posting them. If I can get this ink the right consistency somehow, then great, otherwise, we’ll see. say tuned for updates.

I've just come to the part of the story where Sookie's rapist makes her dress like a stripper on the 4th of July so they could go on some impromptu and probably doomed caper that I guess nobody knows they're even fucking on to rescue somebody maybe, and Sookie's rapist is speaking with a suspicious amount of authority and generally doesn't sound anything like Bill (really, Bill is going to call Appius an asshole?), and she's alone with her rapist when he gets a fangrection at the fact that he dressed her like a patriotic stripper, AND I JUST DON'T WANT TO READ ON. WHERE COULD THIS POSSIBLY GO THAT IS GOOD? IT IS JUST GOING TO MAKE ME RAGE, ISN'T IT?
