Sherlock's diary:

Our very last stop was Glamis Castle in Scotland.

My favourite castle in Britain, and of course John knew it.

I must talk in my sleep.

Nevertheless, the castle is opulent and most interesting.

Founded by the Lyon family in 1372.

Secrets, ghosts, and legends, like the sinful card game in the 15th century when Lord Glamis gambled with the devil.

Or the grey lady, a former Lady Glamis who was burnt for being a witch in 1537.

And there is the secret chamber where not only the cruel Lord Beardie gambled, but also the legend of a deformed child hidden there for his entire life.

We ended our stay with a glamorous dinner and a staging of Macbeth

( Yes, I'm aware of the curse)

My John in a tuxedo, doesn't he look dashingly handsome?!

You don't need to grin, I'm allowed to be smitten.

We talk about my future husband.

It was an unforgettable journey.
