Here are my glitradora head cannons for this sketch under the cut
They all go to the same college together
Adora is on the football team and the volleyball team and has literally been invited to every party in existence despite not being all that interested
Adora is an art history major but is only barely passing because Glimmer helps her cram for every test (adora was a straight a student in high school and had a bit of an existential crisis after her first failing marks)
Adora is a known figure around campus, particularly due to her overwhelming success in football.
Glimmer is a history / physics double major, but the majority of her day is spent on her extracurriculars. As well as playing clarinet in the band, Glimmer is a part of student council, has had at least a speaking role in every play since sophomore year, and met Adora through her work as the football team’s team manager. However, her favorite extracurricular is student government.
Glimmer is in almost every group chat on campus, however does not consider herself to be very popular.
Glimmer’s mom is the mayor, and Catra does not miss an opportunity to tease her about this
Glimmer has absolutely no idea how Catra made it into this school. since all her stories about high school involve skipping classes and getting into trouble with Adora
Catra is an art major, and spends a lot of her time working very hard on extremely detailed artistic pieces, and then destroying them as a finishing touch.
Glimmer bought Catra that “Catgirl Rights” shirt as a gag gift a few months ago for her birthday, but now Catra wears it almost every day. Neither Adora nor Glimmer know whether she wears it ironically or not, and at this point they’re too afraid to ask. (it’s also the first piece of clothing she owned that wasn’t black or grey)
Catra gets up 2 hours early every day to do her makeup. Glimmer says it’s because she is cripplingly self-obsessed, Adora thinks its a way to deal with her self-doubt. The truth is Catra runs a secret makeup blog on the side and has gained a lot of followers for her talent and playing off her heterochromia.
Between the three of them, they get about 6 hours of sleep a night.
Catra taught Glimmer how to do her highlighter, and now it’s the only piece of makeup Glimmer is interested in besides a matching lip gloss. Glimmer sometimes tends to go a little hard on the sparkle.
Adora only wears mascara per Catra’s influence, however no one told her she was supposed to take it off at night. She just puts a new layer on every morning. Catra thinks she just really likes the cakey look.
Adora cut her shirt herself (through Bow’s influence), and Catra stole the remaining fabric.
“Glimmer” is a nickname because as a prank last year Catra replaced all her lotion with Sparkle Lotion. Catra is still waiting for the day that Glimmer figures out WHY she’s so glimmery, but Glimmer has since used up all the prank lotion and is now just buying it for herself on the regular because she likes it.
One time, after Glimmer got into a fight with her mother, to get revenge she got Catra to dye her hair pink. Catra’s not satisfied with it (she thinks she could’ve gotten the fade to look better), but Glimmer absolutely loves it. They bonded quite a bit that night over a job well done, since they did manage to make Angella cry, however little do they know Angella was reflecting on the first time she dyed her hair as a child, and they were really tears of joy and pride.
Whenever Catra and Glimmer see each other, they tend to get into very loud and obnoxious fights, regardless of where they are on campus. No one can figure out exactly why they BOTH insist on walking Adora everywhere, least of all Adora.
Glimmer always carries around extra hair ties for Adora in case she needs one, however will never ever loan one to Catra. The one time she gave in, it was lost in Catra’s hair forever.
No one knows why Catra even bothers using headphones, she only ever plays music from the speaker bits anyways. (and she always is)
Catra started slitting her own eyebrow a few months ago as a fashion trend. Adora asked her what happened and as a joke Catra said she got into a fight. Adora, to this day, still believes her.
Adora’s favorite pastime besides sports is her competitive online strategy games. Every time she finds a new one that she likes, Glimmer and Catra immediately get it on their phones as well, but neither of them have yet to get hooked.
Catra loaned Adora her jacket once in high school and although Adora tried to give it back, Catra said it felt weird taking it since “It’s Adora’s jacket now”. And now it’s Adora’s favorite jacket.
Every now and then Adora will get an invitation to a party that she feels like she can’t refuse, and always insists that Glimmer and Catra accompany her, even if they’re pointedly not invited. (Glimmer and Catra both tend to get a little aggressively protective under the influence) However, usually, the three of them pre-game together and end up having so much fun they forget to go out at all.
the true tragedy of the she-ra fandom is the fact that various people ship Glimmer/Adora/Catra OT3 but in different tags (or in no tags) so we don’t find each other
