Adora sleeping with Glimmer bc she misses sleeping with Catra at the foot of her bed and feeling her warmth and waking up tangled together.

But then after Catra’s redemption she kinda wants to sleep with Adora bc she missed it and she missed her best friend. So she wanders around until she finds her in Glimmers room and Catra, having just left her entire life behind to dive into this rebellion, is like ‘I guess it’s gonna be like this twinkle’ and climbs right in.

It becomes their new normal and Catra and glimmer aren’t like best friends, but they try and they’re warming to each other. Adora has to leave for a night for some unspecified reason and at first it’s a little awkward but like. This is where they both sleep. Eventually Adora comes home unexpectedly and finds them both cuddled up together.

The dynamic shifts. Instead of it being Adora and Catra and Adora and glimmer it’s now Adora and Catra and glimmer. Adora is dying because? The two cutest girls in the world? Are being cute together now?

And when they get together it’s so natural for them and they still all pile into the same bed and sleep in a big tangle but now there are lots more kisses.
