Attempted this today... I think I should have sliced the potato thinner to allow it to cook better... but otherwise good. Will definitely cook again.

Quinoa - The Superfood
Quinoa – The Superfood
Quinoa pronounced as kinuwa has recently been acknowledged as “superfood”. Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa) is a pseudocereal, as this grain isn’t from grasses like wheat and rice. Quinoa is the seed of Chenopodium quinoa and is closely related to bathua which is Chenopodium album(goosefoot). These gluten free seeds are rich in proteins, vitamin B, dietary minerals and fibers. Dietary Needs While Dining Out
I have been a server for almost 40 years, therefore I believe I can help some of you to have a better experience while dining out. There are some of you who think we are dieticians, we are not. Believe it or not, we are paid to take your order serve your food, and keep your drink glasses full. Yes, most of us who have made this our career of choice, want to help you in any way that we can. I will sing Happy Birthday to your Mother-in-law, I will look for the purple and pink crayon your daughter can’t live without to color on the placemat, and I will put everything on separate plates for your child who can’t have his food touch any other food. What I can’t do is be your dietician. I can tell you how we prepare something or if it is breaded. What I can’t tell you is if you can eat something on your diet. It isn’t that I don’t want to help, it is just I don’t want to make you sick. I wouldn’t take advice from my mechanic with my special dietary needs because he isn’t trained in that. Neither am I, but I can make a mean Arnold Palmer. May I offer you a suggestion, most restaurants have a website that shows you the menu. Review the menu, pick a few meals that you are interested in, and then call the restaurant and ask whoever answers the phone about any questions that you may have. Another reminder, so that whoever answers the phone can give you the time that you need, please don’t call during busy hours. 11 am through 2 pm most restaurants are busy taking take out orders and taking care of our guests. Most servers have at least 5 tables that they are trying to take care of. It is very difficult to spend a lot of time answering a lot of questions about what is in certain entrees, and while I am answering the questions that a little pro-activity you could have found out other tables need me. Table 5 needs their check, table six needs refills on their drinks, table 7 is waiting to order, table 13′s food is in the window and needs to be served, and table 14 justed got sat and they need to be greeted and their drink order taken. Every guest deserves to have the best possible experience possible and with a little planning we can make everyone happy, or at least this is our goal..
Thrive: Putting The Pyramid Scheme Argument To Bed
Thrive: Putting The Pyramid Scheme Argument To Bed
So today I wanted to take a moment to put everybody’s mind at ease. I had a co-worker come up and ask me about Thrivelast week. I proceeded to tell him a little about it and he follows up with the comment, “So it’s a pyramid scheme”. When I look back now I think this was more of a defense mechanism more than anything. I mean no body wants to be taken advantage of, right? Anyways, after…

PRECISELY!!! “Denial - No way! This doesn't happen to me- I eat healthy foods! GF is a marketing ploy Anger & Overwhelm - This is bull crap and Gluten Free Foods suck butt. I don't even know where to start. This sucks. Rationalizing - What if I just eat ONE GF meal a day? What's the harm? It's less than I was eating before. Depression - My life is never going to be the same. Going out to eat is going to be awful - I'm just going to stay home forever. Acceptance - Ok, Im hungry. I better figure this out”
Gluton Free
anyone who orders gluton free food that doesnt have an allergy or whatever can simply go fuck themselves. This also includes vegans in general. Fuck all of you people
Day 4 of being gluton free and my random headaches and fevers (without any other symptoms to indicate sickness) are already gone. Maybe it's placebo but I'm feeling pretty good though it's only been a few days
