It’s funny that Boston vs New York is basically Irish vs Italians on a large scale (yes there is the North End I’m aware okay) but also as someone from Boston & also Irish, I’m so Boston-pilled that I have a visceral, involuntary reaction to seeing a Yankees hat & it’s not only disgust, but also physical nausea

While that's one theory, I think that the White Sox, as true arbiters of keeping the Faith (along with the Red Sox, Eagles, Cubs, and Mets), recognize Pope Joan, which is progressive of them, if not the most historically accurate according to modern scholarship (definitely made up by one dude and then picked up by other people and embroidered because that's what people have always done and will always do).

It's also possible the White Sox support the theory of the Jewish pope, Pope Andreas.
