Goatathon Day One: Goat Started

Okay pretty late but here is my -rough- TBR for the goatathon! I’m currently about a third of the way into The Upside of Unrequited and really enjoying it. The books in the stacks are each meant to fulfill one of the Bonus Goat Challenges (and actually, all five of them would work for bleat the backlist...) but we’ll see if I stick to this plan ^^

Goat Started!!!

The Goatathon has officially started! I'm so excited that I took forever deciding what I would try to read. But here it is, my official Goatathon TBR!!

I'm gonna do my best to do all of the challenges every day and the bonus challenges. I'm hoping to get a lot read for this readathon. I hope we can all cheer each other on for this readathon!

🐐 Goatathon Tbr! 🐐

Day 1: Goat started

Initially, I was just gonna stick with The Invasion of the Tearling, but I thought it looked a bit lonely so I piled three more books on top lol 😂

The Invasion of the Tearling- Last month, I read 119 pages so I'm hoping to complete it within the Goatathon. This will also count towards the Tearlingathon too.

One piece omnibus collection- I wanted to read something fun (and something I know I will finish on time lol) so I picked this up. I need to continue the anime though!

Renegades- I have been anxious to read this, especially now that the series has become a trilogy! Superheroes are my jam so I know i'm gonna enjoy this.

Turtles all the way down- I've heard a lot of good stuff about this book, especially in regards to how it represents mental health. I previously enjoyed John Green's The Fault in our Stars so I'm looking forward to reading this!

Thank you @heretherebebooks for organising this readathon! I'm hoping this will get me back into my reading mojo. Any books that I'm not able to finish in the Goatathon, will go towards my tbr for the month 😁

June 1st: Goat Started

It’s the first day of the Goatathon and it’s time to get goating! (Goat pun courtesy of @readingbooksinisrael). My tbr is a bit ambitious and, being a mood reader, I probably won’t end up following it. But, for the sake of formalities, here are the books I’m planning on reading for the Goatathon: 

L’étranger by Albert Camus (a book for the just grazing challenge, featuring my favourite problematic trash son Meursault)

Fullmetal Alchemist Volumes 4-6 by Hiromu Arakawa (a book for the have you herd challenge, which I got pulled into thanks to @mlledevoltaire)

The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch (a book for the buck up challenge, which I have been ‘meaning to read’ for almost two years now)

The Idiot by Fyodor Dostoevsky (a book for the bleat the backlist challenge, which I started five billion years [read: three months] ago and never finished)

The Petrified Flesh by Cornelia Funke (a book for the udder worlds challenge, which I’ve been excited about for ages because mirror worlds were my childhood obsession)

I will also be finishing up a few current reads: Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie, Uprooted by Naomi Novik, Girls Made of Snow and Glass by Melissa Bashardoust, and Now I Rise by Kiersten White. Like I said, ambitious. I’ll be more than happy if I get through half.
