Had a random-ass memory the other day of how much I used to enjoy gobstoppers. Not just the small ones with different layers as you get through them, though those were fun. No, 7 year-old me loved the mahoosive ones that wouldn’t even fit in my mouth at first. My sibling, being so many years older than me, would always show off by shoving theirs in their gob with glee in front of me. I’m sure it being a Special Treat and Lots of Sugar were part of the excitement but I think I also probably enjoyed the challenge of it. 😂
