Psychologically the God-concept includes every idea of the ultimate, of the first or last, of the highest or lowest. The name makes no difference... The God-concept, as the idea of an all-embracing totality, also includes the unconscious, and hence, in contrast to consciousness, it includes the objective psyche, which so often frustrates the will and intentions of the conscious mind.

so i have this poetry website that i post on under the same name as my blog called The Prose, and it has a huge community of poets and writers. highly recommend checking it out if you struggling with writing daily, they have new challenges/community writing prompts you can use every day. once i started using it i couldn’t stop. you can even monetize your stories/poems! Anyway i didn’t mean for this to be a boost for Prose, but it’s a really unique website and i really dig it XD it also gave me the inspiration for this next poem; based off the prompt ‘create or describe your version of gods/goddesses’ this is ‘beasts of all’ ----------- the giants walked past on legs taller than trees. they had no heads for they were too far to see. we huddled in our town smaller than ants. our prayers choked through fearful chants. it was curious, i found, how the giants moved on. heedless of the many lives below the watercolor dawn and i was brought to wonder just what they were fleeing from. because if we cower before these monstrous beings what, then, would send them retreating?
I drew my take on kushinada hime agian.for those who don't know she is the Shinto goddess of rice and Susano's wife.
Baby Mine
It’s been almost twelve hours and Bessie was back at the hospital, pacing. Worried thoughts kept whirling through her brain and she couldn’t silence them. Not anymore.
“Should it really be taking this long?” She asked for what was probably the hundredth time.
“Usually.” Aragon answered.
“Bessie, love, sit down and try to relax.” Cleves said.
“Relax?! How am I supposed to re-”
“Miss Blount?”
A nurse with kind eyes and a gently smile is standing near a set of doors.
“Come with me, please.”
Anxiously, Bessie follows the nurse to another room. There, inside, Jane is laying in a hospital bed looking exhausted, but happy nonetheless. In her arms she holds an impossibly small bundle.
