Run towards Jesus

In this day and age, as believers, we need to know that we are simply passing through. We are no longer part of a world system of control and neglect, rather we are ambassadors of righteousness and our destination in heaven.

2 Cor 5:20  NLT So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”

Today, I believe Holy Spirit is calling us to abandon the world and to run towards His open arms. It is in this position that you will find comfort for your souls and peace in your heart.

You are invited to recklessly abandon yourself to the King of Glory (Ps 24:8  Who is the King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty; the LORD, invincible in battle), and to place your trust in Him (Prov 3:4-6), for in doing so, you will find God able to do and accomplish far more than you could ever ask for (Eph 3:20-21).

“Run towards Me. You have been running in the wrong direction, nevertheless, listen to My voice. Stop what you are doing and surrender to My calling. It is in the intimacy of this moment, that you will know My heart concerning My will for your life. 

I am the direction that you seek, and no amount of self effort will change your current position. Therefore, surrender your position, run towards Me and you will find rest for your soul”
