standing on stage at a bikini contest is not dissimilar to standing naked in front of a surgeon. Both feedback that certain areas of your body are not right, or need work on, need growing, changing, editing in some way or as one person told me I was genetically flawed!! I'm so done with other people's opinions of what I should look like. Sadly I'm in an industry that does this but fortunately I've grown strong enough to stand in it and by being myself I promote real health to all who work with me. I'd never want this for them I'd never want this for my kids. I never want other trainers to feel they need to do this to fit the industries ideal picture of fitness!! If you are a 'normal' trainer (as in you live in your natural body and don't diet or over exercise) and most likely get judged when you teach a group of people because you don't fit the ideal. then stand strong this week.
