How would you think a romance between Bull and an ace Inquisitor might play out? Since sex is basically what it builds up from in canon, but it's far from all their is to their relationship
Side note that this is an inquisitor that doesn’t like sex as I did one who was okay with sex on the ask which has all the companions reacting to an ace inquisitor. Also I hope this sounds okay bc like I feel like it’s just ramblings…
Their relationship would start off a bit differently than the normal Iron Bull’s romance. It is not extremely flirtatious comments that turn into sex to blow off the steam to something even more. No, this is much different.
I think that Iron Bull would accept a nonsexual relationship from the Inquisitor. The Qun separates sex from romance and makes sex more of just an act. Therefore a relationship without sex might be more Qunari traditional.
It would take more time to develop the relationship, a lot more of a slow burn than the scorning dynamic that they would most likely form with sex thrown into the mix. It is more small things, the inquisitor spending their time with Bull and the chargers’ and small gestures that all lead up to one day Iron Bull finds himself referring to the Inquisitor as Kadan and finding that he can’t even deny the title. It becomes a lot more of a slow work in progress and both the inquisitor and Iron Bull seem to be enjoying it that way too.
