i think wind has this really heavy complex about needing to prove himself as worthy of things. in his game he had to earn the master sword’s power even after he pulled it,, and he also had to fill the void left by the hero of time in his timeline where Time vanished. him being the youngest also, i think he always wants to show everyone he’s useful and worth keeping around. his emotions feel bigger than him because he’s so young and a lot of the chain also started their adventures very early (Time, Four, Legend, Wild depending on your headcanons, etc) and often want to at least somewhat make things easier for Wind, and it makes him feel babied sometimes ,, tho i don’t think he’s opposed to having help and being open about how he feels, a big part of wind waker is him fighting together with tetra. anyways this was all spurred over wind waker’s attack animations being dramatic
