'how cute was the staircase scene tonight?' - really cute actually? in a different way than "usual"
Albus was laughing a lot about the Rose thing, holding onto the stairs towards the audience and only really turned to fully face Scorpius at all with "that's who you want in your palace?" and it's that momentum of turning that has them accidentally end up so close staring into each other's eyes. & then the hug too was great. Scorpius started running at Albus before he was even really done talking- I always love that. Like he can't hold back a second longer. they held each other for a moment after too. which works so good after the first moment took them totally by surprise bc then this one is a conscious choice and so tender
so yeah, different approach but it works so well and I actually kinda love it?
