Simple Good Luck Spell

I posted about crafting it Here, but I didn't go into as much detail about my spell as I could've, so here it is. It's important to remember that mine is for money, housing, and a new job, so these are ingredients that correspond with that

Ingredients:

Allpsice - money and business success, luck

Alfalfa - money and prosperity, happy home

Basil - wealth and protection

Cinnamon - success, power, luck, prosperity,

Coffee - encourages hard work, "gets you out of your own way", speed up

Comfrey - money, endurance, stability

Orange peel - abundance, luck

Peppermint - protection, prosperity, success

Lavender (optional) - peace

Crystals (optional) - varies, I used clear quartz, which is a multi-use crystal.

Tealight/wax melts/string/ something to seal

Vessel:

I used a jar, but you can use anything, a bowl, a candle, oil, sugar scrub, bath salts— anything. I will say, if it is going in your body or on your body, make sure all of your ingredients are safe for consumption/topical application and make sure you are not allergic.

Assembling:

The amount of each ingredient is dependent on your vessel and the size of your vessel. I used like half of an orange peel, a single sprig of fresh lavender (if you use it, it doesn't have to be fresh) and probably a tablespoon all together of the other stuff. Regardless, cleanse your tools and your space, center yourself. You can use smoke, sound, or by running it under water. If youre using a candle for sealing, light it now. Put your ingredients into your jar (or whatever you're using), focusing on the intention. Take a piece of paper and write out exactly what you want to happen, i.e. "I will get a new job. I will move out quickly and peacefully." And stick it in the jar. Add any special embellishments (such as crystals, talismans, etc). Close your jar tight and drip the candle wax onto the lid to seal (or tie a string around it, or however you want to seal). Either snuff the candle for reuse or let it melt completely, using as much of the was as you can. Put it in a safe space and viola!

Honey Spell Jar

Sweeten your life with this hoodoo practice of making a spell jar. Jar work can be used to bring good to your own life and trouble to others. There are three main jar works; honey jar, sour jar, and freezer work. Today we are focusing on bringing good our lives with a honey jar.

Hoodoo is a form of African American magic, also known as conjure.  Hoodoo blends a combination of traditions that include African and Native American practices as well as Christianity and European folk magic.

Remember in hoodoo there is no threefold law or any idea of karma.

This is one of my favorite spells to do because it involves a few of my favorite things 💜jars and 💜honey

First take some time and think of some areas of your life that needs sweetening. Love, money, healing etc. Gather your items needed to do your work. You'll need a jar or container, desired ingredients for desired outcome. Petition paper with name if intended a photo will also work. Add trinkets and sweetener. Seal your jar with wax. When ever you need a little sweetness in your life burn a candle on top of your jar.

Honey- to sweeten situations or to sweeten others. Persuade others your way

Oils- essential oils are great to set intentions

Heart shaped... - draw love

Money- to raise financial status

Herbs and crystals- choose herbs and crystals that correspond with your intention

The Seven-Snap Quick Luck Spell is designed to help you in a pinch when you need a boost in luck for little endeavors. It's more for quick things you may need, so don't expect anything too extravagant. It is short-term but able to be used daily especially for those who need a simple spell that is low energy.

All you need to do is say "Luck be gentle, luck be swift, surround me now, in all of your glory," seven times. When you are finished saying it seven times, snap your fingers for another seven. It helps to visualize gold coins or any symbol of luck (rabbits, clovers, horseshoes, etc) surrounding you, raining down on you as well.

Tea lights are great for spells when you need a little bit of magic quickly. Here’s a simple spell for good luck that I threw together with what I already had:

•green tea light candles

•powdered nutmeg

•aventurine chips

•green glitter

I drew a small sigil and engraved it on the bottom of my tea lights with a pen. As the candle burns, the sigil will warm, filling it with energy.

I’m burning two tonight- one for myself and the other for a friend.

Bag Spell for a Pleasant Test-Taking Experience

Intent: The purpose of this spell is to assure that the person who carries the bag has a stress-free test-taking experience, and is able to finish their test on time, and without worrying too much while they take their test.

Ingredients:

Aquamarine (for memory, and to promote verbal self-expression)

Amber (emotional ailments cured, unlocks inner wisdom)

Selenite (memory, illumination, healing)

Clear Quartz (amplifier)

Lemon Essential Oil

Cedarwood Essential Oil

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

A small glass vial.

Any sigils that you think you’ll need (I used a sigil for productivity and one for being free from stress. You can design them yourself or find pre-made designs online.)

A small watch or stopwatch (represents having enough time to take the test)

An old key (This represents unlocking goals, and is also a physical representation of the witch in the spell. Remember to find a key that vibes with you.)

A small bag or pouch

Instructions:

Prepare your sigils by drawing them on pieces of slips of paper. Make sure that the pieces of paper are small enough to fit into the bag without being folded. One the backside of each piece of paper, write the purpose of the sigil so as to remember/restate your intent when making them.

Prepare the essential oil mixture. Combine three drops of each of the above essential oils in a small glass vial, and seal the vial. This mixture is for clarity and focus.

Open the bag. First, place each crystal inside. Channel your energy into them. As you set each crystal inside of the bag, fill them with your intent and remember what each one is meant to do. The crystals do not have to be placed in any specific order. Do what feels right for you.

Next, place within the bag the watch/stopwatch. This watch will represent your ability to keep track of and utilize your testing time limits.

Add each of the sigils into the bag, in a way similar to that of the crystals. Remember what each sigil is there to do as you place them inside the bag.

Add the vial of essential oils.

Finally, add the key. This key is the representation of you, the witch and the test-taker, in the spell. It also symbolizes your ability to unlock and achieve your goals.

Close the bag firmly.

Make sure to keep this bag with you while you take the test, preferably in your pant or jacket pocket. I find it best to keep it in a jacket pocket, near the center of your body.

The bag can only be opened once the test is finished, at which point the spell is no longer in use. Crystals should be cleansed and recharged, as well as the other materials (if you plan on reusing them). Sigils can be torn up and recycled.

Things to Remember: Please keep in mind, friend, this spell won’t get you anywhere if you don’t study and prepare beforehand! Magick can only do so much of the work for you. This spell is only to allow for a pleasant experience while taking the test, not for a good grade afterwards. Remember to study beforehand for a duration of time, and to get good sleep before you take any tests, quizzes, or exams. Good luck!
