I just don’t #Selfie as much as I use to. || Also - deep selfie caption here: Yesterday I was thinking about #Uncertainty. How are we so uncertain about what to do with our own lives like there’s a rule book of what we can and can not do and who we can and can not be. For example, I have lived in a lot of places. I will live in many more places. Who says because I don’t have one job, living in one city for many years, married, with 2 kids, a dog, and a Prayer group I meet with every other Thursday - that I’m not living life the way a #GoodChristian girl should. Or that because my #missions and my #ministry doesn’t look like the old church mothers then it’s not acceptable. <- Here’s a thing to consider... the reason people lived in one place and worked one job forever was because that was the way Society could function at that time. You lived in certain villages or spaces with your tribe to be (1) safe (2) provided for (3) perform your function. You were responsible for making metal so you HAD to make metal every day forever becAuse you were the only one that made metal in your #clan. <- Not the way society functions any more. But we get so stuck in #tradition that we start thinking tradition is the rule and not just one way to consider doing a thing. ~ So back to uncertainty... this is YOUR life. There are no rules. We are all out here making it up as we go. So stop being uncertain and just make YOUR #choice. It might turn out bad. You’ll learn a lesson and make a better choice next time. But guess what... it might be amazing! Incredible. The best thing you’ve ever done. Who knows? But you gotta go. You’re the #standard. You’re making up your own #blueprint!
