We’re going to be doing a lot of beta testing in the next month or two, and we would like a few more dedicated beta testers to help us work out the bugs. We’re hoping for at least five, but more is always better in this situation. As a beta tester you get sneak peeks at the planning stages and discussion there. You also get to give your two cents on features you’d like to see that we haven’t initially included. Best part, you get to play with new stuff!
If you would like to help us out, these are the requirements:
1. You must have a Keep account. This is so you will have access to the Beta Testing Forum. It doesn’t matter how old or new your account is, you just have to have at least your PMs unlocked (via one post made, it can be a thank you or anything, go make a post on our Project Teaser thread even, so long as you’re not making spam anywhere) so that we can give you access to the Beta Forum.
2. You must have all EPs, be it individuals or combo packs doesn’t matter. This can include the UC version of Sims 2 as well. Stuff packs are not required.
3. Be willing to place our beta content into your heavily modded game. This also means you know how to back your game up, because if it blows we’re not taking responsibility for lack of back up.
4. Know how to identify/troubleshoot mod issue. This means if you notice something off in your modded game, that you go and create a blank game to see if the error is true. This would indicate it being a CC conflict rather than an item as is error. No worries we give you a list of what SHOULD be happening.
5. You must have time. We know there’s life/school/work/etc, so we’re only asking for a few hours a week of your time. That can even be an hour on a single night if you test fast. Please do not apply if you can’t set aside time to test.
6. You do not have to have a medieval themed game. Your game can be however it is and that’s just fine. In fact that helps!
That all being said, how do you apply? Please send a PM to either Sunni or Fractured Moonlight at the Keep. Simple as that.
