To add on to that post about Hot Topic being art thieves I remember not to so long ago an artist that I can’t really remember at this time discussed about their Toothless art being stolen and it’s an awful move on Hot Topic’s part.
Let's not forget that after firing Tim Burton for Frankenweenie being too scary, they then, years later, had him make a Disney version. Oof. If only that one did well too, would have been egg on their face.
Disney has a lot of audacity, tbh. No wonder Burton never liked it there. They were so exclusive about happy art styles that his were rejected all the time. Yet they really love Nightmare Before Christmas…
Smh.
I always thought that Jack might be English and French. Maybe a bit of German in there. I'm interested in hearing where you think Jack might be from of what culture! His name is certainly English.
You know, I’ve always wondered that, too! He says he’s been many places, and obviously his last name is just a play-on to the word “skeleton”(hardy har harr, Burton….), and, yeah, his name IS certainly English.
I’ve seen bits and pieces of people making headcanons. Some consider him English, some consider him French. We don’t know what he was like when he was alive, so it’s honestly just up to whatever you want to think. The only canonical hints or clues I can find is his slight mentions in his Lament.
To a guy in Kentucky, I’m Mister UnluckyAnd I’m known throughout England and France
So….Jack’s been in America, England, and France….the guy’s origins are really unknown. Personally, I’ve always headcanoned that Jack is mostly French. I’m not sure, I just liked the idea. But, like I said, it’s up to anyone!
Your art trademark is that everything is curvy and flowy like a jazz art. Everything looks warm like being in a cabin on a snowy day
