I hate designing robot characters because wdym it doesn’t make sense they have a radio head haha wdym
hiiiii i saw your comment and had to ask whats a wenglish?
I'm not sure why but this ask is adorable to me lol.
Wenglish is basically what I speak IRL lol. Most people in South Wales speak the same way and it's a majority of English words but spoken in Welsh language speech patterns?
If you're not familiar with it it's kind of hard to describe but doing things like starting a sentence with a contraction and ending it with the same words is probably the easiest example, using two different words that mean the same thing right next to each other, adding unnecessary joining words, starting no answers with the word yeah and vice versa, as well as a variety of local words that don't really mean anything anywhere else.
Example time!
That's lush, that is.
I'm tamping, I am.
I'm freezing cold or I'm boiling hot.
Where you to?
What are you on with?
It's by there.
I'll do it now in a minute.
I wants a cwtch, I do.
Arka this one, he's chopsy he is.
Yeah, no, that's not gonna happen. (means no)
No, yeah, that's the plan. (means yes)
etc etc
There's also the more stereotypical phrases that are used for jokes but I've actually heard out in the wild like-
Whose pint's this half?
Whose coat's this jacket?
You reading that paper you sat on?
Lol it's all Wenglish and most of us don't realise we're doing it until it's pointed out or, like in my case, you catch yourself typing it out and then you learn to reel it in reeeeeal quick so people don't think you're chatting absolute nonsense lol.
How am I supposed to know which one is aoi akane and which is akane aoi when I look them up and get the same thing
Hey,I just discovered just right now that there is a short of Wallace and Gromit(in partnership with Google)that makes a crossover with Ginger from Chicken Run,Shaun the Sheep,a cat and a dog from a short called Creature Comforts,Piella(she revived???) and Fluffles, and some birds from a short of Aardman?(i don't know they). So...WHY NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT THIS?! I had to discover this myself, and I got REALLY suprised for this,so if anyone knew about this:WHY YOU DON'T TELL ME!? And if someone didn't knew about this, now you know, you're welcome 😃👋.Seriously,I discovered just now and everyone already knew or what?
Because of COPPA(I think is COPPA)the comments are disabled,so thank you YouTube (you @ssh#le),so I wanted to see if anyone on Tumblr knew about this for I see your comments and toughts(because on YouTube I can't).The video is "Google Hangout with Wallace and Gromit"
(English is not my official language, sorry for any mistake)
P.S: I'm reblogging this for some reason
Fun things to do during this whole epidemic:
1. Play Google Quick Draw
It's kind of like pictionary except more stressful and it feels like the guesser has only one brain cell. One challenge is trying to not fail in drawing what you want to draw. My record is 4 drawings in a row, but maybe you could do it in more. Another thing could be trying to draw something wildly wrong, but ending up getting the AI to guess right.
Next time: We'll test the validity of starting new hobbies and dumping old ones. See ya then.
