I was sitting quietly along the edge of the lake at Whittier Narrows when suddenly this goose approached me! He was fast! At first I was taken aback and startled because he kept doing it, until eventually I gave in to the head butts and stood facing him. In the #video I eventually realized that it wanted to sit with me, walk with me, communicate in its own way with me, and provide companionship while I was in the park. He wouldn’t leave my side, even when people offered bread. He walked me to my car and I had to walk him back to the lake and quickly leave before he saw me, so that he wouldn’t get hit by a car in the parking lot. I really didn’t want to leave him. I believe God used this goose to show me an example of love and companionship.
