Yum 😋 starting the day overlooking the beach 🏝️ at #gordonsbay with a delicious #shake Perfect to destress after our late night experience, hit by a car 🚗 on our way home from a gorgeous day out yesterday exploring the route to #capepoint our #Angels were looking after us no one hurt just the vehicles 🚗 bit damaged Interesting it isn’t a legal requirement to #insure your car in #southafrica ( who knew ) not me and approximately 70%of people don’t We realised their tax disc was out of date and didn’t realise actually it belonged to a different car too, as Police 👮‍♀️ this morning told us. I’ve always thought #travelling is an education in itself learning, a wonderful way to find out about how much diversity is in the way others live their lives, each countries culture. There is one thing that’s constant the world over and that is the Essence of Love we All understand this at an innate level even though the personal expression and experience of this varies greatly too. The sun ☀️ shines after the storm a couple of days ago, exploring our new accommodation that has a bigger pool 🏊‍♀️ to use. A very short walk to beach 🏝️ through the golf ⛳️ resort sees the aftermath of the storm, the sea 🌊 is a bit murky to swim in today. The views show #gordonsbay to our right and #strand to the left these areas are the childhood places of my partner Elandro a somethings have changed, some things have not in since the 22 years he lived here and the last time he visited 10 years ago. It’s important to connect with our roots, our childhood memories to #knowourselves deeply and to # reconnect to our #authentic self I’ve been reflecting on how powerful the sea is taking the debris from storms and transforming, like a cleansing purification process as the next day the seas are blue again and swimmable. We opted for a dip in our bigger pool on the estate.
