"Save me?" The Lhazareen woman spat. "Three riders had taken me, not as a man takes a woman, but from behind, as a dog takes a bitch. The fourth was in me when you rode past. How then did you save me? I saw my god's house burn, where I had healed good men beyond counting. My home they burned as well, and in the streets I saw piles of heads. I saw the head of the baker who made my bread. I saw the head of a boy I had saved from deadeye fever, only three moons past. I heard children crying as the riders drove them off with their whips. Tell me again what you saved."
Every time I think of this quote I'm honestly glad Alicent's bloodline has nothing to do with Daenerys
I watched this ep recently. Amazing how Dany went ahead and did what she did after. Did anyone doubt that she would become power obsessed and evil? Yes. Yes they did.
Game of Thrones re-watch: SE1E01 - Winter Is Coming
Last night starting our Game of Thrones rewatch to get us to season 8,mind you this is the first time my boyfriend and I have watched the show together he says this to me;
“You know, the scene where Robert comes into Winterfell is the only scene in the whole show that the Starks are shown together”
My reply, “Oh you sweet summer child”
BF “Wtf is that supposed to mean?”
Me “ For the night is dark and full of terrors”
BF “ Are you going to be like this the whole entire series?”
Me “ Valar Morgulis”
BF “Fuck”
me practically every time Tormund is on screen
IT WASNT LADY
Bran saw his father's face change, saw the other men exchange glances. He loved Jon with all his heart at that moment. Even at seven, Bran understood what his brother had done. The count had come right only because Jon had omitted himself. He had included the girls, included even Rickon, the baby, but not the bastard who bore the surname Snow, the name that custom decreed be given to all those in the north unlucky enough to be born with no name of their own.
