There should be more conversations about platonic ships and honestly it's really upsetting that they get put on the sidelines when they have so much flavor

Like, Ive been thinking about Beverly and Circe and how they basically both live at Providence now, if you decide that Circe doesn't go to Hong Kong with the gang again, and how they would interact.

In my head I like to think that Beverly is really excited to meet anyone and have a conversation with others again, and we saw how nice her friendship with Rex was, and since Circe is a great friend to Rex too, you'd think they'd somehow meet up at some point.

They both live at Providence but they don't formally run into each other until one day they just do and Beverly is so friendly-- she grabs Circe's hands in hers and shakes them, all excitedly, and Circe is just standing there like who is this girl and what is uppp with her. And she's awkward or whatever cause Beverly is straightforward and blunt but in a kind way and like from then on Beverly always says hi to her in the hallway and tries to make conversation, and although Circe isn't all that comfortable at first, she gets used to it and soon enough they're eating lunch together and telling each other about their days, all casual.

Rex is just really happy to see his two friends getting along and Holiday is all for seeing Beverly get along with kids her age.

And like, Circe and Beverly decide it's time to leave Providence cause they can NOT be there their whole lives. Circe has lived with the Hong Kong gang before without adult supervision or anything like that so she wants to try getting a job and a apartment and Beverly gets the genius idea that they should move in together, just to get their bearings since they'd be lonely suddenly being alone by themselves. So they platonically room together while Bev goes to college in town and Circe does something she loves and fhdgsgsgsvhd platonic ships plssss

Rex:

Rex, turning around: hey Ben!

Ben, across the room, talking to Gwen: huh?

Rex, still yelling: are we dating?

Ben, hand behind his ear: what?

Rex: ARE WE DATING?

Ben: oh! I dunno! Sure? Maybe? Are you asking me out?

Rex: I guess!

Ben: then sure!

Rex, turning back to Circe: yes. The answer is yes.
