Quick Things to do to celebrate Yule
if you are like me most likely you are stuck inside today and can’t really go out. Here are some things you can do to celebrate Yule
Do a 12 card spread Each card represents what the month of the year holds for you. The card on the bottom of the deck represents the underlying theme of the year.
Review something you’d like to renew or revive Especially if it’s a project or something you were working on that you put aside for a long time. Think about taking it back up today. If you are lost in this, you can ask your deck for help.
Make blessings for yourself or loved ones It’s a great time to send positive energy towards others you care about or if you really need it, focus it on yourself. This year we have the Great Conjunction so it’s a fantastic time for abundance spells and blessings
Play some music Here is a curated playlist for you
Make a “feast” Ok so Feast for 1 usually is just like a festive dish with roasted veggies and a nice dessert. Maybe make an easy roast, a pasta bake or a stew and top it off with a home made baked good and ice cream. Boom. Wassail.
Have a blessed Yule everyone. Hope this next cycle can allow for more freedom and growth.
OK, so, in 1990, the Ravenloft campaign setting comes out and is immediately supported by RA1 — Feast of Goblyns, which is a sort of deluxe disasters of a scenario that tries to fuse traditional D&D play with horror and the gothic narrative intrigues of the setting. It doesn’t really come together, but it is a noble first effort. RA2 — Ship of Horror comes out in 1991. It’s a stand alone adventure that features a lot of nautical traversal. It’s OK, but TSR’s still not really figuring out the narrative play thing yet. I should note though, that the metaplot-focused Dark Sun also comes out in 1991. Later in 1991, RA3 — Touch of Death comes out and suddenly there is a prophecy that retroactively accounts for the action of all three RA modules, indicating the coming of a Grand Conjunction, the first Ravenloft metaplot.
The Conjunction picks up again in RQ1 — Night of the Walking Dead, which is weird, because it is intended for character levels 1-3. Penned by Bill Slavicsek (pretty fresh off his stint at West End Games), this module does a good job of balancing the requirements of the plot against the agency of the players. The plot is pretty deep, but none of it comes at the cost of player choice, which is a bar none of the other Grand Conjunction modules ever clear. It involves an island, an eclipse, a plague of zombies and a zombie lord. The romp through the cemetery at the end is quite nice and it is pleasing to not have to deal with the realm’s Darklord at all (a common complication). It even does a decent job of avoiding the pitfalls of the Epcot Voodoo Island vibe that is established for Souragne in the box set. Some nice Fabian art as well.
The fourth part of the prophecy fulfilled, the Grand Conjunction moves on. But not to RQ2, that would make too much sense! That super high level mind flayer-centric scenario has nothing to do with the Conjunction, so we’re going to pass it by till another October…

Together Jupiter and Saturn combine expansive and imaginative vision with the structure and discipline needed to both manifest results as well as strip away the inessential. While Jupiter signifies generosity and fortunate opportunities, it can also lead to egoic greed and delusions of grandeur that requires the contemplative focus of Saturn to trim the excess and strengthen what is ready to ripen. At the same time, we need the inspirational revitalization of Jupiter to mediate the negative side of Saturn that can bring fear over limitations and obstacles and lead to depressive stagnation.
There will be new challenges and unknown potential arising as we begin a new era of Jupiter and Saturn that we will need to make space for in our lives. During 2020 ask yourself what you need to leave behind and what you truly desire to carry forward.
Happy Solstice (summer where I am), Ascension Day and everything else today brings. Take it easy on yourself. We are healing the collective consciousness. I guess I'm slowly healing myself too... Sending love ❤️
Happy Winter Solstice & Grand Conjunction! ❄️🌞
Winter is the time to retreat within.
Physically and spiritually. Go within to reflect on all the gains, losses, lessons, and where your path is taking you next. Winter we plants the seeds that grow and blossom into the rebirth of spring.
The very beginning of winter, with the solstice today, is a time for receptive stillness and quiet rest. Yet with the astrological activity and grand conjunction today at 1:20:30 pm EST... today is very fruitful for setting intentions that will manifest and unfold during the next 3 years of saturn in aquarius.
Jupiter and saturn join every 20 years, but the conjunction hasn’t been this close to earth since 1623. It’s also believed the Star of Bethlehem that lit the ancient night sky for the three wise men to find baby Jesus was a Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in the enlightened sign of Pisces. If you don’t understand the winter solstice, grand conjunction, or how to make the most of it all I shared insight on my patreon + my plans for this special day.

P.s - Please note I wrote 'In the month of July' instead of May by mistake
Same for 'In the month of August ' instead of June.
It is possible that for some of you the months are going to be carrying the same energy.
