Granny JoJo, walking around the table with slices of pie: one for Richard, with extra sugar on top, one for Gumball, put in the fridge for a minute so it’s not too hot, one for Darwin with no crusts, and one for Anais with Darwin’s extra crust. And one for Nicole.
Nicole: how did you manage to burn just one slice of the pie?
Granny JoJo: I put it back in the oven after slicing everything up. Enjoy
This one has to be the saddest and most horrid episode to ever come out. This one explains a lot and also causes questions. Here we go....
The story starts out with Grandpa Louis and he lack of having friends on Elmore Plus. If you notice, he actually had friends in the past seasons. The crazy part in the episode, The Crew. The friends said that Louie a.k.a. the other friend stopped showing up and they wish to talk to him again. That episode ended with Gumball & Darwin misunderstanding and the friends STILL DON’T KNOW if Louie is ok.
So, Gumball & Darwin decided to make Louie a friend to talk to Muriel. (Talk about if Eustace finds out) So, he talks and we learn a lot. Turns out Louie is definitely a people person while Granny JoJo has been keeping him away from people. She gets ticked off and jealous on anyone or anything that talks to Louie or even smiles at Louie. (She punched a mirror once)
This is where we get to the horrible truth. Granny Jojo is a horrible person to be with. We will not know how she met Frankie or even if they even married. But Frankie bailed. He left and now it is in question if he left because he is no good or the fact that Jojo is a twisted individual. No idea what damage she might have done. I would not be shocked if Frankie was a part of a team like the Ocean’s Team but then comes Yoko.
Even worse is the damage we already saw with Richard, her son. In the episode, The Authority, she was so overprotective that he can’t truly function as a person or an adult. When his father sad how he is no good, he did not even figure that Jojo could have ruined him more than he could. If Frankie raised him, at least he wouldn’t be so stupid. Yes, he might be a swindler but still better than what he is. Cursed. He is lucky to have met Nicole. If he didn’t, he would still be living with his mom, hostage.
The most horrid of reveals, her genetics was passed on. If it unsure that she transferred evil but it might be possible. Notice: The Rival, The Remote & The Password. We are talking about her granddaughter, Anais. Given her intelligence might have been given due to Jojo but the evidence is inconclusive. The real problem is that she has the same “toxic clinginess” that Jojo has. The main episode to show this is The Parasite. Given the other time, she might have gotten better but it is still present. (There are two episodes to show this...what, you want me to refer those too? Nope, homework for you!) One more thing that I didn’t consider is that Jojo’s coldness also was inherit. See The Egg. Funny how brilliant she is, she could not understand why Billy would be spiteful towards her. Instead of talking, she went to violence like Jojo would do via The Pest.
I could continue but this is good enough to finish the story. The story continues to where Louie wants to have an actual friend to talk to. Jojo does not like that and along with Gumball & Darwin misunderstood what he was hinting to. So, Jojo wanted to kill the person that is recognized as Muriel. With some saves from Gumball & Darwin, she is safe and the truth is revealed. Louie is kinda relived I guess and Jojo notices what she has been doing to an extent. But not really, it ends with Louie getting an Elmore Plus friend finally, Jojo..... And so the cycle continues. You would wish that he could be friends again with the 3 “crew members” but no. To this day, they do not know what happened to their friend.
