They're so much alike that being in the same vicinity drives them both to seething hatred but Grants role in narrative as someone who lies at the heart of so many narratives that he is almost never mentioned in (Slades conflict with the Titans, Joey never mentioning him, Rose using his name for almost a decade without acknowledging him once, her getting Grants "going to insane lengths to emulate Slade because she idolizes him" storyline to her own detriment, her also getting the "manipulated by HIVE to use against Slade" storyline in Deathstroke: Knights and Dragons where Grant doesn't even exist, and the thousands of other places in Deathstroke stories where Grant should be relevant or mourned or hinted at or haunting the narrative where he just.
