Natsu is bad at dating. Gray is slightly less bad so Ezra forces him to help. Turns out, it’s their first date all along. Enjoy!

I’m a month late for Gratsu week but it’s still technically Gratsu month lol. And I couldn’t not draw anything for my favorite Fairy Tail ship. So I have risen from the dead just to post this 😂😬

Just heard that fraxus week is on the same week as gratsu , sorry i didn't know i would have tried another date as to make it easiser on the fans of both ships , the date was set according to last year's date since we are trying to keep the same date for every year

That’s okay! ^^ Actually, we’ve been hosting Fraxus Week around the same dates (15th - 21st of July) since 2014 so I don’t know how this happened but Nalu Week got delayed this year too (but only this year, it’s gonna take place in the first week of July again next year) so hey that’s three weeks lmao.

But don’t worry, I’m sure the ones who participate are still participating no matter what and late entries are always fine anyway!

Around two months ago, there was a Gratsu AU week on tumblr and I submitted one artwork for the prompt Samurai AU. Hoooowever, the picture wasn't complete, or rather it didn't have a background. Gratsu Day 2 - Cooking

*submits this literally 2 months late* soooooo here you go sorry for this being super duper late it’s just been laying in my folder for 2 months, anyway enjoy this rushed mess.

Gratsu Week: Day 2 - Hungry/Cooking

HEADCANONS:

Natsu can actually cook super well but he never gets to show it off. Since he’s always on a mission with the team they just eat out or cook something up really fast.

He had to learn because Igneel the dork dragon didn’t know how to make food for humans so Natsu just kept practicing and became good at it

Natsu literally knows ALL poisonous and edible plants because of his sense of smell and also this one time he smelled a plant and it smelled okay but when he ate it he couldn’t mOvE hIs ArMs and he had to get help and leave Igneel for a little since a freaking dragon would cause a panic and it was really scary

He still has nightmare about that time so he made it a personal goal to know and research every poisonous plant known

Natsu’s specialty is seafood because Happy constantly wants fish so he’s always trying to make each dish unique and amazing because he’ll get bored of them otherwise

Gray is a terrible cook

He has no talent for cooking. He doesn’t understand heat or for how long you should cook stuff

Ur would always cook for him but she never got the chance to teach him so he just never wanted to learn. He always just bought stuff at the guild or at restaurants

Natsu once saw Gray about to eat a fish that he had cooked to literally 20 SECONDS and Natsu was just like “that’s it you’re coming to my house and I’m cooking you a homemade meal”

When Gray came over and ate his food he took one bite and said that he was going to marry Natsu and they both recognize that dinner as their first date

Natsu told Gray that he didn’t want the guild to know that he could cook because they would think he just burns food or they would force him to make stuff for them, try it, and then ask him to cook all the time

That last part turned true because Gray asked Natsu to make him a lunch for the mission that they were going on and Natsu, of course, wanted to make food for his bOyFrIeNd so he brought it to the guild when they were going to leave but Wendy and Gajeel were like “what is that delicious smell coming from that box in your hand Natsu and who did you have to kill to get it” and Natsu told them his secret and the whole guild didn’t believe it so Gray fed some of his lunch to Erza and she started crying it was so good

Instead of going out to eat Gray just asks Natsu to make him stuff

Every year on their anniversary Natsu makes dinner for the two of them just like their first date

Natsu once tried to teach Gray how to cook and it ended up with them covered in flour, eggs on the ceiling, and Natsu melting a pan because Gray BuRnEd A fUcKiNg SaNdWIcH and he was so done

Natsu forbids Gray from being in the kitchen unless it’s to get food that Natsu has already made

Once Gray asked Natsu to recreate a recipe that Gray remembered from Ur and Natsu was super nervous when Gray took a bite of it but after he chewed it Gray kissed him and shed a tear
